Tab Systems Inc. specializes in the development and production of multi-modal biometric systems for identification, access control, time & attendance and building automation. We develop and manufacture smarti® - a complete access control and time & attendance solution based on multimodal biometrics using face and voice recognition.
An additional advantage of this great product is the integration of multiple additional features (video intercom, video & IP phone, video messaging, video surveillance…) into one compact device for a reasonable price. smarti® is also completely protocol independent and can therefore be used to control almost any kind of I/O device (electronic locks, lights, alarm systems, finger print scanners, magnetic card readers...). Designed with flexibility in mind, smarti® can be used for many applications within: business/corporate and high security environments, for home/building automation etc.
smarti® was nominated three times in a row, in the years 2006, 2007 and 2008, by the BSIA (British Security Industry Association) among six best products in the world in the “Best new access control product” category. Among other finalists where companies like Panasonic, Siemens, Honeywell… In the years 2006 and 2007 it also won an award from the Slovenian Chamber of commerce for “Best innovation”.
