We are still in the middle of a nice and sunny summer. It is not to hot here in Slovenia in fact the temperatures are just fine. Since it is still the time for summer vacations we hope that all of you have a great time where ever you are. Well the smarti® team has prepared the August issue of the newsletter, where you will be able to read the latest news about the smarti® system and about some of its benefits.

smarti® update
The update and the new user guide are now available for download from our partner pages. The smarti v5.0.0 update includes the updated help system, a few optimizations of the system and a new external application called External input responder. This is an add-on, which allows interaction between the smarti® system and external devices connected to the system, which are not used in conjunction with the biometric stage and/or the External device manager.
This application reads the responses from text files which can be written by an external device or by a function defined from within the smarti®. It can also read responses immediate from the devices. If the response matches the desired input string the External input responder can trigger functions in a specific order and if needed also with time delays.
