The highlights of 2008
Looking back at the highlights of 2008 we can see it was a very successful year for smarti® and the smarti® team.

In spring smarti® has been nominated for its third consecutive time to be one of the six best new access control products at the IFSEC awards.

In August the smarti® DIADEM unit was nominated to be one of only six finalists in the category Security Innovation of the Year at the Security Excellence Awards 2008. These awards are organized by Security Management Today, Security Installer and info4security and are acknowledged as the Oscars of the security world.

And finally on the 19th of November 2008 the smarti® DIADEM unit received the Highly Commended Product Award at the finals for the highly prestigious Detektor International Awards in Copenhagen Denmark. The other finalists in the Access control category were iLoq, Siemens and HID.
New smarti® version is approaching fast
Well do not think that we have slept in after all the awards that we received this year. We have been hard at work for the past two months on a new update for the smarti® system. It will be ready for download in the 1st half of January 2009 and we will tell you more about it then.
