In front of you is the September newsletter. As you probably know from our last month’s newsletter the new smarti® Electra unit, after winning at the IFSEC 2009 Security Industry Awards, has now been shortlisted as a finalist in the Security Innovation of the year category at the Security Excellence Awards 2009. The ultimate winners of the Security Excellence Awards 2009 will be announced at a high profile awards ceremony to be held at the London Hilton, Park Lane, on the evening of Thursday 22nd October. We will be there and we hope to see you at the ceremony also.

smarti® back office presentation
We have created a short presentation of the back office or the administrative part of the smarti® system. It is a short avi movie with English voice over where we explain the basics of administrating the smarti® system. You can find this presentation in our Download section under smarti® PowerPoint presentations.
This is the third part of a complete smarti® presentation which starts with the 1st part: English PowerPoint presentation with voice over continues with the 2nd part: English User view with voice over and ends with the 3rd part: English Back office with voice over.
TCP/IP Relay box
About a month ago we have added to our product portfolio a relay box which works over the TCP/IP protocol. You can connect the relay box directly to a computer network and you can control its outputs and inputs from any smarti® unit within the smarti® system.
The standard TCP/IP Relay Box has 8 digital outputs, 1 analog output, 10 digital inputs and 4 analog inputs. And additional extension modules or slots can be added to the main module. This gives you the ability to control practically an unlimited number of electronic devices and sensors. The TCP/IP Relay Box is a great solution for:
- advanced access control systems where you need to control multiple sensors, doors and alarms,
- building and home automation where you have to control a large number of electronic devices and sensors.
