Dear readers,

It has been about a month since you last heard from us. We have been keeping our selves busy here at the smarti® HQ. We are preparing everything needed for the IFSEC 2010 and if all goes to plan we will have a few surprises ready for you. We have released a new update for smarti® and we are also preparing a new update and GUI for the video intercom and smarti® phone.

Update 7.8.2

Update 7.8.2 is now available for download. So what is new in this update?

You can now define functions as conditional or dependant. Dependant functions will only be executed if selected conditional functions are active.

We changed the way in which the access schedules are defined. Up to now the access schedule was defined by selecting intervals which were rounded up to 30 minutes. Now you can select an interval and than by right clicking in it you can type in the exact time of start and end of the access interval, so the access intervals can now be rounded up to 1 minute.

There are many more minor improvements to the software. Please download the update from our partners section.

 

Benefits for the condominium owners part III

The use of the smarti® system offers many potential benefits for the Condominium development projects which are detailed below:

Facility booking system

The smarti® system could include a facility booking system (for example to book tennis courts or other common shared facilities in the complex).

Maintenance announcements

The smarti® can be used to advise tenants of maintenance issues, such as lift maintenance, fire inspections etc. These announcements can be cascaded, for example providing the information on the smarti screen one week before, the day before and on the day of the event. The messages can be customized to only appear on the smarti units of those apartments that will be affected

Language specific

The smarti® can provide different languages for different apartments, so an owner can select which language to receive messages in.
