It is summer, it is the middle of July and it is really hot here in Slovenia. It is the time for summer vacations. The smarti® team has still not gone to vacation, all dough we are planning to. But first here is the July newsletter. In this issue we will be talking about the upcoming version and benefits of using smarti® for condominium owners.

smarti® update on the way
Well we have been preparing this one for a long time. It was just so much that we wanted to add. The update is now in the final testing phase and it will be available in a week or two. The main addition in this update is a completely new and redesigned set of menus for home/building automation and the client application to set them up. We will not go into details here but we have attached a few pictures just to give you an idea of what we are talking about. Also in the update we have upgraded the presence reports and made them faster there are of course many other minor improvements. But we will talk more about that when we release the update.

Remote control. Owners can control devices in their apartments from their mobile phones or computers via the smarti®.

Video Messaging. The smarti® unit can be used to leave video messages for known visitors, friends or family members as well as between owners and occupants

Video surveillance. The inbuilt video can be monitored via the internet or mobile phone allowing owners to see what is happening in their apartment in the event of an alarm, or to check on elderly or young occupants. In addition IP cameras can be linked to the smarti® to allow owners to monitor throughout the apartment.

Future easy expansion of access control. If owners want advanced access control or locking system the smarti® can control this.
